Click on the product corresponding to your job/position (proofreader, scopist, agency) and proceed to checkout. After your purchase, you will be redirected to the "Members Area" where you create a login and build your profile! Your profile will be added directly to our directory for the next 12 months. How much does it cost to join? Our service is 100% free for court reporters, and very affordable for proofreaders, scopists, and agencies. It costs only $60 per year for proofreaders and scopists, and $200 per year for agencies. How do I get "Verified" or what does it mean to be "Verified"? We have a verification process for proofreaders and scopists. For proofreaders, we send a redacted transcript with a time limit for their edits. Once we receive back the transcript, we check their edits against our master reference to ensure they have found the appropriate corrections. For scopists to become verified, we require a reference from an active CSR or RPR who has worked with the scopist previously. While the names in our directory are not employees or agents of Deadline Reporter Resources, we are determined to add a layer of security help reporters make an informed decision when calling on a new resource.

We will then check your edits compared to our own and you will receive a pass or fail score. This system allows us to verify that you are a real legal proofreader who understands the job and is doing this work yourself as opposed to outsourcing it overseas. Our aim with this system is to protect the integrity of the legal proofreading professional and to help protect court reporters from potential scams.
