Since COVID-19 began, many court reporters have obtained additional licenses in various states. We feel this has created new opportunities to connect court reporters with great agencies across the country who may be experiencing a reporter shortage in their immediate area but may have remote depositions that can be covered by a great reporter who may be out of state. We would love to use our directory to connect these agencies with these reporters.

Additionally, there are some court reporter-owned agencies who are expanding into new states, or who have clients with occasional out-of-state needs/work. In these situations, agencies need to have a strong address book of reliable court reporters across the U.S.A., and this is an area where we would love to help!

Our mission is to support and promote agencies owned by a certified court reporter. We believe that supporting these reporter-first agencies helps protect the future of court reporting. During this time of a reporter shortage, AI encroachment, and massive consolidation of agencies into a few powerful national competitors, we know that agencies need professional and experienced reporters they can depend on, and reporters need honest agencies who only use certified reporters and are preserving the integrity of this profession.
