I am a former California CSR, first passing the examination in 1977, and I have had a love of court reporting and law ever since I got my first Stenotype machine when I was in high school.
For ten years, I was a freelance reporter, doing depositions, arbitrations and various board meetings throughout Southern California.
Then in 1987, I passed the Los Angeles County Superior Court test and I was an Official for four years in criminal and civil courtrooms.
